Went to Church today or it sounded like it.

I'm 42 and have watched City play in over 90 stadiums in England and europe so don't tell me that today, the day we went 2nd in the premier league, was one of the worst performances in recent history because that sir, is quite simply a ludicrous statement. Not so sure about putting your record against mine now are you Mr hard to please.
Only 90, piss poor, make more effort:) :( listen I am not looking for a fall out, it is a point of view that the backing today was piss poor, and the backing is much better away from home these days, why are we sat in the COM'S with 46k getting outsung by 2k week in week out. No doubt you have supported the lads as much as I have, although I am proud of my record of 37 games in a season home and away, oh sorry I forgot to mention that was traveling from North Germany to each game, but like I say we have all made the effort.
What about Port Vale at home on Boxing day 96?

Maybe in some ways it has, but look at the Utd games and Spurs even the Villa game last season proved if you are playing good football, that there is some thing inportant in the game the backing will follow. Today a half decent Newcastle side played 3 up front most of the game, it was fairly open except we were so poor in our passing that our backing was not even there today. Newcastle at home 77 0-0 AT HALFTIME THE REST IS HISTORY.
Do you reckon today was worse than at home to Hull last season?

Or a multitude of games when Pearce was in charge!!!

I thought the atmosphere was fine today. South stand making a good bit of noise, AJ song got an airing. Early sunday kick offs or always a bit flat. Think your post is way OTT. If you think that is the worst game you've seen for 37 years you've got to be on the wind up.

You say you've been watching football for 37 years? Is it suddenly news to you that the away fans make a lot of noise and the home fans can be a bit quiet at times? It's like that at virtually every ground in the country.

Reading through some of these posts. . . It's ridiculous. I go home, away, abroad, everywhere watching city and the away atmosphere is always better away from home. It was a sunday early kick off, against a lower mid table team. Was always going to be flat. Get a grip. We didn't play well. But we won. And we're 2nd. Seems the better our team gets, the worse our fans get in terms of negativity

And the Drama Queen of the day award goes to the OP, there is no way on this good earth was that the worst performance in 37 years, you really need to give your head a wobble! We won and that's it, you may prefer us losing and playing well, but a win will do me

name one,go on........
What about when they lost 1-0 at home to Boro?

I'm agreeing with you you tool! Bolton at home when we were 2-0 down before half time when Anelka scored. The Marble on Rochdale rd was at bursting point while the game was still on as that many people had walked out.

And they way you say 'they' leads me to suspect your credentials aren't what they are otherwise you would have said 'we'

I knew I shouldn't have clicked on this thread.....37 FUCKING YEARS???? ARE FOR FUCKING REAL???

Just one from the memory banks; anyone remember that defeat by Huddersfield on a friday night in the season we got relegated to the 2nd Division? Now that was really shit.

So shit in fact that I went to Jabez Clegg after the game, got pissed out of my mind, pulled an ugly fat bird, took her back to my student digs in Rusholme, kicked her out at 4am and then ritually burned the City team poster I had on my bedroom wall in the backyard after I'd managed to get her sizeable arse out of the house.

Funnily enough, I don't feel like doing that tonight. In fact, I feel pretty damn fine.

Fucking drama queen.
