Manchester City moved up nine places to ninth on Deloitte's European football's rich list with a revenue increase of 44% to £125m.
The figures calculated by British accountancy firm Deloitte in their annual review of finance for the year ending 30th June 2010 showed that City were the biggest climbers and billionaire owner Sheikh Mansour is now having a big impact in the club's standing within European football.
However the Eastlands outfit still sit behind rivals Manchester United, who are third, while Arsenal and Chelsea are non-movers in fifth and sixth spot respectively. Liverpool dropped one place after missing out on Champions League football, but they are still ahead of City in eighth position.
Tottenham climbed three positions to 12th on the back of reaching the Champions League in 2009/10, while Aston Villa sit in 20th place.
Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona remain the world biggest money-makers as they sit first and second, respectively.
