Not a chance those sponsorship deals are going to amount to anywhere near £45 million
The timing of the naming rights deal is going to be very important. If they did it now they wouldn't get the maximum out of it, cos we're on the up and in a couple of years time we might have champions league football and a trophy or two, which would strengthen our hand
I am NOT going to argue with you about the value of the deals I listed.
Certainly not the ones with Malmaison or Jag' but I would ask serious questions about how anyone values the deals with the 'home' deals.
The strength of City's financial position for the next few years is directly and inextricably linked to the owners own investments and those of businesses that have links to HH Sheikh Mansour.
Have a quick peep at the financial statements of Aabar or simply look here -

To get a sense of the huge network of companies that City now have access to.
So what does the Aabar deal work out at? It may well be £50m on its own - fair market value questions then get asked I suppose but mean little of nothing as what is it worth to people sucking up to City?
I deliberately didnt say 'fair' market value as there is no such thing where City are concerned.
Then lets drop ADTA into the reckoning

What is the worth to AD in getting the name all across the globe?
There has also been a naming rights deal for Carrington that was surely done to offer an indication of the broader naming rights deal that is to be announced at some point?
These deals are loss leaders for AD businesses and they will continue to quietly and privately build massive revenues for City.
