West Brom Post Match Thread

Liked what I saw of Nasri when he went central near the end. Put his foot in and broke up some attacks.

Shocking performance.

Yaya and KDB changed the game, but after that the in-game management was appalling and we invited pressure onto ourselves.

Nasri was excellent throughout, though and deservedly won Man of the Match.

Thought Kolarov put in one of his better performances, too. Always looked dangerous going forward.

Bony is one of the worst signings post-takeover.

3 points all that matters though. A huge sigh of relief.

Aguero, KDB, Nasri (motm), Toure, Kolarov did well. Everyone else was avg at best.
Hart poor

3 pts is all that matters now tho.

Can I be the first to congratulate MP for two inspired substitutions, he won us that game.
I thought the selfless attitude shown by Bony was the thing that did it. Most players would want to stay on the pitch, but in making the ultimate sacrifice (in football terms) he showed how valuable he can be.

Fair play. In the pre-match thread some suggested playing the big guns from the start, getting the job done early, then bringing them off. Manager got it right this time. Feel sorry for Bony, it's never going to happen for him here.

He had to make the substitutions because the starting eleven he picked was shit.
