Re: "We'll score when we want"

Not sure why the first attempt was deleted...

We will score when we want eh? I wanted us to score today, but we didn't.

We have had something about this before however it couldn't be more appropriate to bring up again today. We (well you lot back home) need to stop singing it because it stinks of arrogance, and we are not that club. 6-1...it should have been 10...etc. etc. are fair enough because we smashed the Rags, and plenty of other teams. However, we do not score when we want do we? We score when we can and when we are on our game. Today we were piss poor and I am glad it wasn't sung (or was it?).

Funny ol' game footy is. Go to the Swamp and win 6-1, yet go to Craven Cottage and the Hawthorns and get two points.

Hate the song.

Totally agree and the most annoying thing is that was the only song I could hear us singing. Hurt me to hear Baggies singing your support is fucking shit etc..

Top of the League and it seemed our away support was crap (yet last season in both games it was great). Even when we pushed for a winner and got corners etc I couldn't see any animation, just passiveness.

I know a lot of Blues who didn't get tickets for this game despite having lots of points and who would definitely have got behind the lads. Seems the club decided to give their tickets to a load of stuffed dummies.

The Bosnians are trashing the official YouTube channel with abuse about not playing Dzeko too. Deplorable. Love Edin but wouldn't be sad to see these "fans" leave if he was to ever be sold as the majority of them would if he left.

Pick of the bunch, the drawback of being good and having top players are "fans" like this:

If only Silva passed Dzeko ball at the end it would be a win.But as every game Dzeko is ignored and thank you God this was a DRAW

They clearly don't realise he has been injured. Maybe Edin should tweet 'em !!

A lot of embarrassing nonsense in this thread. Thankfully there's few sane souls in a sea of cockwombling.

We won't win the League until drawing at West Brom is seen as a bad result, and I see nothing wrong in saying so. Some under par performances today from Milner, Aguero and Silva, and see nothing wrong with saying so. I'm disappointed AJ didn't start today, and Mancini left the changes too late, and see nothing wrong in saying so. In fact it was a bad day at the office all round, so bearing all this in mind, I'm not sure what people expect to see in a Post Match Discussion Thread?
+1

Get a grip. We can't win EVERY game.

Dont expect to win every game but i was merely pointing out the fookin obvious - i aint slagged the players or Mancini thrown my toys out of the pram or behaving like a slapped arse byt my points are valid

it dod not work today but we did not seem to be able to change it
"Play AJ or sell" is the height of Widow Twankeyness. We are top. End of story. Yes we should have won but we didn't lose also. Marathon not a sprint.

bollocks its an opinion simple as that - the game was screaming out for a wide player today because trying to pass through them was not working and 20 minutes was not long enough for him to make an impact. Its clear that Mancini does not quite think he is there yet -fair enough so buy somebody who is somebody who can inject some speed and pace into the game - sometimes you cant pass the ball into the net sometimes a more direct approach is required.

Sunderland away is likely yo be similar a game we must win because it is inconcievable that Blackburn will get a draw or a win at the swamp.

AJ i one of my favorite players so dont want him sold personally i would have started him over Nasri today and i think he would have made a difference today

My friend, of course City should be worried about the mighty reds

Fuck off mighty man u my arse.... jusst a bunch of wankers who got lucky with their favourite teams rolling over for them as usual.... how many times has martinez got his team playing well against top four teams but soon as its the manure from twatford he gets them to roll over ... same with certain managers like bruce, mcneill, hodgson, and certain refs give them everything yet same refs give us fuck all...... we will still win the premier league regardless of how mant teams roll over for ferguscums batty boys

Some people really need to give their heads a wobble, a bad day today, but we did not lose, Wroy set his team out the right way to grind out a draw fair play to him, we have done this ourselves in the past.

People need to take a deep breath, and repeat after me

We will not win every game

And again

We will not win every game

One more time

We will not win every game

Now does that feel better? There are still loads of games left and lots of points to play for, and as Brucie was fond of saying, "What do points me" PRIZES!

Now Relax

I dread to think what some fans will be like when the title race reaches April.

Some people need to grow some balls very quickly. If you arent up for it find something else to do.

Top of the league.

Anyone else seem to notice the we NEED to score in the first 20 mins or so??? I feel like I'm starting to see a trend........ We usually come out strong in the first part of the game i.e. Chealsea...... I think teams are starting to realize this and using it to their advantage..... They seem to just sit back and defend for the first 20-30'mins and let us have the majority of the possession...... After dominating the first part of the game it seems our players maybe get over confident and think they've got it in the bag I.e. Chealsea again..... We need to put the game away early and not let other teams get back into the game..... we also need to work on keeping up the same intensity for the entire 90 mins...... We can't get too comfortable after dominating the first part of the game.... It seems this is what other managers are trying to do (give us a false sence of comfort) so we let off the pedal as the game goes on
