West Brom Vs City Post Match Thread

... But he is WBA manager... You can't expect him to come on and praise us, blowing smoke up our arse for all his interview... Can you?

Navas was our weakest link and we cannot afford to start with him. We should use him as an impact player and bring him on at 70 minutes... That way he may contribute something substantial to the overall end product. At the moment he doesn't!
I agree that Navas was probably our weakest link (someone has to be), but you've intimated that he was a liability and, IMO he wasn't. Great TEAM performance.

My only complaint, and I'm holding back a rant here, is the substitutions!!! We were 3 nil up with have an hour to go, perfect opportunity to think longer term. Aguero on for match fitness I agree with and predicted that one, you could maybe argue that nasri was for the same reason but mdm on was poor. Perfect opportunity to play Denayer or go 442 and bring on nacho. Playing mdm for 10 minutes achieved nothing whereas a debut for a former eds lad would have given a lot of fringe players a boost.

Your joking I hope.

Navas works bloody hard and has a good team mentality!
Sure, he could improve his crossing but he's a very useful player who causes full backs lots of problems, great movement off the ball, tracks back, never makes a fuss and takes far too much flak on here!

Nope, Navas is short of the standard we need to be playing to if we're serious about winning the league... We've to be ruthless and if DeByrne comes then I'm afraid Navas is the massive impact player to bring on, he's bags of pace and will probably contribute much more when up against tired defenders.
Hes had 22 assists for us ffs.. and whats all the 'massive' shite about ??

Your joking I hope.

big yaya does have a point
