West Ham 2016/17

You really don't think there's incidents of trouble at every club ? And Upton Park has been trouble free after the 80's ? It's the same amount of aggro it's always been. There not fans. There dickheads looking for trouble that can't control there beer.

Not in the premier league on the scale that has been at West Ham this season. Your fans coming out of the etihad "singing same old West Ham taking this piss" and bouncing around like they were on a trampoline was an embarrassing site this season. As I said have liked them (and been to many West Ham games) for many years but not feeling it at all these days.

Like the England fans at the Euros trouble and beer go together, wankers.

''By the coaches Sunderland definitely the culprits. Then half a mile from the ground Sunderland piled off a coach and started fighting.''

Most Sunderland fans on there saying they saw fuck all.

Just the usual blown out of proportion because we're at a new massive stadium.

... Chelsea will be a test mind. I suspect a lot of non football fans will go and try and cause aggro.

My experience overall as a 20+ year season ticket holder is that the O/S is a thousand times better than Upton Park. The Transport. The area and Facility's. Atmosphere and my view has been fine aswell.

Picked a few nicer ones there! Lol. Let's see how Wednesday goes. 20000 extra fans getting tickets cheap will attract a greater degree of knobheads.

You used to prefer us back in the day when we had the ICF firm ? Going around kicking anyone's heads in, smashing up pubs etc ?

... We have 50 odd thousands fans ... There will always be a handful (literally 10-15 'fans' that want aggro) all clubs have there fair share of dickheads. Media making more of it because of new stadium but Upton Park was far worse for trouble.

Went today by way, atmosphere was great, stadium was rocking and didn't see any trouble at all. Only downside is my Mrs enjoyed it that much she wants to go every week!
Not a great performance but a big win for us. well done you hammers
Fair enough pal.glad you had a good day,and it was a big win for you, everybody loves a last minute winner.

I had your card numbered at "massive".

Not when you leave in the 92nd minute and miss it !
Even worse....when you leave Sunderland ground with five mins to go ,it's 0-0 and u think we'll at least it's a point after such a long drive....then u get back to yer car and just as your about to get in an old man with a transistor radio dances a jig of delight on a street corner ahead of you.....that sinking feeling..that one point becomes a bitter" Norway....no point"(eurovision)
And u face that long jouney home fucked off to high heaven...listening to pink floyd comfortably numb .....down the A1....beat that bluehammer; )

Reading the Sunderland forum again - they are scathing of the stadium and fans.

Yep I have read their forum and concur. This isnt the first tome west ham have had trouble outside the ground rhis season is it, i hope we arnt seing a return to the bad old days.
Bluehammer, you have picked up a fair few thousand fans this season, does that include a lot of the old timers returning?

You really oversell stuff mate, a bit like you do with England. KUMB pretty much say the opposite every game. Still though, a much needed win for your lot

Message forums on KUMB consist of the same 10 + people moaning about anything ... There was 57,000 there yesterday and the atmosphere was
So much better than the same
Fixture would have been at Upton Park. I know that for a fact. It's laughable how Upton Park is considered anywhere near as good as O/S ... Aside from being more on top of the pitch , I can't think of one reason.

I'd say majority of the 'old timers' are still there. Whatever that means. I'm a 20+ year season ticket holder, do I count ? ... Some 'old timers' don't like a change, which is fair enough. But I have more concern for my club and for it to progress further - staying at Upton Park would not have got us anywhere.

Sorry, to be clear im asking if there is a link between the apparent return of violence and the old icf type crew? There was reported trouble against bournemouth and watford i think...i agree about upton park, you have to give it a go to try and break into the top 4 so its a no brainer.

Fair enough, no - don't think we'll ever see a return to those days - the world has changed, policing and cameras everywhere now days , with higher ticket prices, all seating and no alcohol in the stands, slowly it has killed the old school hooligans - there will always be the odd incident and a few dickheads trying to cause trouble.

West Ham throwing seats and coins at Chelsea fans all match. Don't like Chelsea much so sounds ok to me

Just West Ham fans causing the aggro ? Chelsea fans just sitting there nice and quietly minding there own buisness I'm sure - was always going to be minority causing trouble. Less than 1% as usual. Hope they all get banned for life. Both sides.
