West Ham 2017/18

David Moyes......and if that wasn't bad enough there is talk he will appoint Stuart Pearce as his assistant! Exciting football it isn't going to be! If you were in that dressing room you would think, " What the fuck???" Time will tell if it works obviously, I fear the worst. Now Zabba will always be a legend for what he did for us but I was amazed to hear they were signing him on 90k a week in a three year deal when his legs had clearly gone. The rest of their squad isn't great either and you are hoping a new manager will give the place a lift and you rack some points up on that wave but I just don't see that happening with Moyes.

Stuart Pearce's last eight matches as coach/manager at the Etihad (City of Manchester) Stadium

20 January 2007 Manchester City 0–3 Blackburn Rovers
3 February 2007 Manchester City 0–2 Reading
3 March 2007 Manchester City 0–1 Wigan Athletic
14 March 2007 Manchester City 0–1 Chelsea
6 April 2007 Manchester City 0–0 Charlton Athletic
14 April 2007 Manchester City 0–0 Liverpool
28 April 2007 Manchester City 0–2 Aston Villa
5 May 2007 Manchester City 0–1 Manchester United

I remember every thrilling minute as if it was yesterday, 8 matches 2 miserable points and not a single goal for us to cheer.

The fact that Gollum was the last choice says all you need to know about the way the club is being run. No-one wants to go there. And the fault lies entirely with the Gold/Sullivan/Brady triumvirate: they've turned a decent little club (and I do not mean 'little' in a patronising way) into an amusing little sideshow from the Premier League. If you want a break from the stress and the anxiety involved in professional football go and watch the West Ham comedy show. A laugh-a-minute extravaganza with clowns and jesters. Roll up, roll up...come and split your sides with laughter as Mark Noble seriously tries to hoodwink people into thinking he's a professional footballer, giggles galore as Andy Carroll takes us on a trip down memory lane with his tribute to the Mack Sennet vaudeville of yesteryear as he falls on his arse by simply trying to comb his hair. And meanwhile Moe Syzlack (taking a break from running his tavern in Springfield) stands at the side of the pitch, immobile, arms crossed: a hapless ringmaster caught up under the largest Big Top in London.

It's a shame, but all the while the dildo gang are in charge there's only way the Hammers are going, and it isn't up.
For a minute I thought you were talking about Citys history until you mention Landan

how wrong can you be Leicester city did the dream and it can be done again style is not just the answer and talent/money is not just the answer to winning silverware managers and players and the board all going in the same direction is and the fans don't care if you pump the ball full of helium and never use the grass if you have a bit of silverware at the end of it

but you can never have players and manager happy to lose and roll over at places like united it sends out a message that the club don't give a shit about the fans the players know whats going on at the club and turn off there is no pressure put on players when a manager lets them rule the board just want 40 points and just staying and banking the next big check for just turning up and make up the numbers

west ham was always a good football club they played the right way but also could play the dirty game aswell you had to be if you want to beat the better teams and west ham could get in your face and it was never nice going to west ham for a game the fans demanded 100% and if they did not like something was up in arms players knew they could never coast in games and roll over in the name of west ham

that's is what i seen this season with west ham a team happy to get off the park with a beating the players and manager laughing and talking to each other fuck me you just got rolled over and you laughing and it was not just at united vs liverpool you just let them play even after you got back into the game within seconds rolled over and game over

Alot of people picking individual teams that have had one off good seasons - Leicester played the right way and were amazing for one season and then what happened ? got found out, got stuffed all the time and fans had enough - despite the need for entertaining football when fans don't get results they want change.

West Ham of the 90's was the last time we played good attacking football... the 90's! since then its been relatively shite, i should know, ive had a season ticket for 25 years - football has changed, the best i have seen us play was pragmatic under Allardyce, some games he parked the bus other times he went for it - he changed the tactics dependant on the opposistion, it got us results, it got us promotion, it got us top 10, it left us in Europe and all this from taking over a debt ridden shambles of a club in the Championship - yet he will still get slagged off, he will still get the media tag of being 'Anti football' - yet i watched us stuff City, Spurs, Chelsea under him - at times it wasn't great but it never always is under any manager - football has changed, the top 6 dominates, they have the resources too - yes the odd team will come along and surprise but it's never sustainable unless billions is being ploughed

but but ... we are being managed by a young attacking manager ? this is what we all want isn't it ? .. Wrong - it is results, under a pragmatic manager we could have got a draw or scaped a win in these games by being defensive and playing 'hoof football' - how wrong can i be

Moyes is absolutely shit as a manager and adding Pearce as assistant manager is just rubbing salt in the wounds. Sorry pal but your going down faster than a cheap hookers knickers
