I said this last week. It amazes me how technical blessed players like we have don’t have the composure to put the ball in the back of the net. It seems like some of the players think ‘ah well, we’ll get more chances so I don’t have to try that hard to score here’. Get the cunting ball in the back of the net.

Anyway, shite trophy.
 
Got what we deserved for yet again being totally pathetic in front of goal. Lots of simple chances missed yet again.
Even a world class striker wont solve this when so many of the team cannot take chances.
Do we have goalposts at our training centre to practice shooting as its been an issue for year.
FFS, Sterling are just not what’s required, another poor 90 minutes fir Sterling again tonight summed up by the awful header straight at the keeper at the end
and Kev has been poor for fir a while now. Will never know who our 5th taker would be but knew Sterling wouldn’t be one.
 
Oh well, at least there’ll be a few week days off to rest!
Should have won before penalties, but their keeper had a great day.

Thought they were disappointing showed little ambition didn’t give us many problems and we mainly controlled the game we had opportunities that we should have converted
 
KDB does everyone a second slower theses days. Sad but I think we've seen the best of him.

5,000 away fans to watch that dross.
 
Superb penalties from them.....they played for them and you can tell they've practiced for them all week hoping we'd miss all our chances,.all 22 shots of them......which we did..Raheem looks shot to pieces... starting to feel really sorry for him he's in such a rut....think he needs a break for a while.
 
please practice finishing.

we seem to have two type of games where we go and score a lot or we are just struggling to score at all.

get that top striker through the door in January if possible. I dont want this lack of striker/killer instinct in box cost us everything second half of the season.

finishing like this can cost us the CL in one game round March... it already cost us the PSG game and potentially the first place in group.
