West Ham (A) - EFL Cup R4 - Post-Match Thread

We were poor tonight to be honest, Even at that we should of scored at least 1 ot 2 tonight. Raheem Sterling isn't going to be a popular lad on here tonight, Truth be told he's not going himself any favours.
Thought we only really looked threatening when Phil came on. De Bruyne was way off tonight.
Anyway we can't complain we've had it good the last 4 years with that trophy would of loved to win it again but it's not to be.

Just a bad night at the office really. We move on to Saturday!

Every chance we had (3) were headers from crosses. Can’t wait until we get a monster striker to put those away.

Just not meant to be today…

Said it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if we didn’t win, and it isn’t.

Did enough to win it, but then didn’t. That seems to be the story of most of our losses recently.

From the WH celebrations, I think they must think that if you beat the holders on pens, you WIN the trophy…right there and then.

22 shots, 7 on target, no goals.
That might be the story of our struggles this season so far. All while playing some outstanding football.

Not watched it or followed it tonight. From looking at comments on here it sounded grim. Really glad we are out. Too many games ahead and our squad isn’t as good as the media like to spin.

Awful game of football. Our finishing is criminally poor!

Gives us two free midweeks in January, let’s hope Liverpool and Chelsea stay in the comp all the way to then and then lose to Sunderland in the final.

Want to win the FA Cup four years in a row now
Then the CL four years in a row after that!

I don't think our finishing is the issue, it's the quality of the chances we are creating.

We're not finishing particularly well, but the chances are not top quality. The days where we were creating 10 tap in chances a game are long gone.
