An organised team and our attack is blunt. We have loads of creativity but don’t actually create that many clear chances.

Our own fault that. We have dominated the game but missed some absolute sitters.

Ake, Stones, Gundogan and Sterling all missed guilt-edged chances. Gone out on pens in what should have been an easy 2 or 3 nil win.

Good luck to West Ham, no axe to grind with them. I thought they were very poor on the night but held their nerve in the shootout.

Can't finish chances, it will kill you every time.
Our finishing was pathetic.
Pens are always a leveller so no criticism.
They scored all theirs and we didn't.
Clearly if we continue in this vain I suspect we won't win anything this year. All the pretty football in the world doesn't win matches.
