Scarily excellent considering we are clearly still some way off match fitness.

Well put. There were instances where we were unforgivably sloppy, and yet a quite brilliant performance in other respects.

West Ham will finish top half and on paper it was a tricky fixture for an opener. We looked decent in all departments over all.

Some of the best goals this season, will be written off.

Offside was designed to improve the game, not ruin it. They even had it in the law, to allow daylight between players, to try & achieve that.

How the fuck you can go from that, to disallowing a goal on a centimetre, is typical of the fucking wankers in charge of the sport. You can't even be sure the ball wasn't kicked, between frames.

It's ridiculous :(

Just been having a look at KUMB. West Ham fans have become very bitter with lots of references to Arab FC and so on.

They generally have been a decent lot over the years but there seems to be a sea change.

That goal ruled offside had a thicker blue line than red line, because it was in top of the red line! That is ridiculously close, when you take into account the issue with when the ball is hit.
