Great result, patchy performance. VAR killing the passion.No more playing off the shoulder... going to have to ensure behind the defender. Advantage defence.

Based on our performances last season the first half was poor in tears of movement and keeping possession. Second half different story as although we tired West Ham tired more as we keep possession better and made them chase. A few shaky moments at the back, excellent double save from Eddy, loved the way Laporte always tries to play football rather than hoof it like a certain other centre half. Movement much better second half which tore WHU apart. Mahrez excellent and I think there will be much more rotation this year as the drop in class is minimal across the squad. Who would have guessed Bernardo wouldn’t have even got on the pitch. Harder games ahead but great start.

Talkshite were very complimentary about you and the way you played. They put it down to us being on a different level and had no worries about where West Ham would finish. Still predicted a top 10 finish.
I don’t worry for our season and agree city on different planet, but we was still very poor.
