This one is a season defining match at this point. Everything we’ve done up to this point culminates this weekend. We can’t definitely win it on Sunday but we can lose control of it it.
West Ham are a decent side, Antonio when fit makes them a much better side, Bowen is a real threat and with Dawson and Soucek they’re a real threat from set pieces.
We’re likely to be without Fernandinho and Laporte so probably means Rodri at the back and Gundogan as DM. That means we’ll really have to protect the ball, try to avoid giving the ball away softly as per wolves equaliser and play smart. Despite this being the tail end of a tough season, if we can keep our energy levels up and we play like we can we should win. As always we need to take our chances when they come.
As for who should play, the defence will probably picks itself so KDB, Gundogan and Bernardo in midfield then its 3 from Foden, Jesus, Grealish, Mahrez and Sterling. Based on minutes played this week probably Grealish, Jesus and Mahrez but only Pepk knows.
A win of any sort, whether scrappy, fluky, undeserved or comprehensive, will do.
