West Ham - Change to KO time (now 2pm)

Didn’t we get an email from City the other week saying something along the lines of…. Now that all of April and May’s games have being finalised, it’s time to make plans?

West Ham have known they were in the semi final since the 14th April. So why the fuck has it taken the best part of three weeks for this to happen?

They could easily have done as they did with our game with Liverpool and given a date/ time if they did reach the final and likewise if they didn’t. It wouldn’t have been ideal but at least you will have known where you stood.

And having waited this long, they could surely have waited another two days, as Frankfurt are about 1/4 favourites to reach the final anyway, so chances are the whole thing will turn out to be pointless.

Why has this happened?
This is purely down to Sky rating Everton's relegation battle as a bigger draw them our title push.

2hrs later would not affect West Ham in the slightest if they got to the final.

2 weeks notice is out of order, all about the fans? My arse it is
Why haven't the club resisted this?

Last para key here; doubt they’ll get through from what I saw watching the first half of their home leg last week.

Yeah, was just going to post this. Hopefully it doesn't scupper anyone's plans.

I'm not sure why the kick-off time has been brought forward but I'm guessing it could be to do with West Ham's Europa League commitments - if they get to the final it's 3 days later
I think this helps is with less raucous crowd

Will getting knocked out of the EL semi by Frankfurt piss on their chips and to boot surely top 4 is gone now too. Hopefully they'll be on a downer when they play us. Oh and we owe these one for the City Cup defeat on pens.

Seems it's West Ham who've asked for the change because they might be in the Europa League final 4 days later.

First train down from Edinburgh leaves at 9am and gets into Kings Cross at 140pm. Or I could fly. Given I have 2h 50m before the game I will make the decision to get the train with plenty of leeway. At the time of booking the train is £50 - whereas the cheapest flight is £89. So I save money as well....
Now they move the ko at short notice. My train is pointless as it will be half time when I get in and the cheapest flight with limited notice - £155 to get into London at 1240pm (cutting it fine) or £396 (yep three hundred and nighty six fxxn quid) to get in earlier. To put in context for £27 less I can fly to New York the same day

But the important thing. Is football without fans is....
Less money - thats all. But tbd they do not give a shit otherwise.

Final is three days later. But that doesn’t make it any less ridiculous.
