West Ham (H) Post Match Thread

Tough to put in a swashbuckling perforce after Sunday’s exertions. Should have been 2-0 very early and went a bit stale after that. But we won and that’s all that mattered today.
 
Excellent.

Not in terms of the quality but the fact we’d played 120 minutes in the cup final and with 10 men to come from behind to win in Shalke, yet still took the 3 points.

That’s an impressive end to an impressive few days.

Zinchenko is becoming the man.

Not his biggest fan at all but Gundogan was very good as well.

Mahrez needs a fucking slap. Does fuck all except sulk and look like a fanny.

Please don’t hunny me. West Ham had one shot. We played well in the circumstances and the effort these boys are putting in is wonderful.

We have just won a cup, having a great go at defending our title and still in two cups. I don’t know if it is turning you in saying we were atrocious when we clearly were not but we don’t need support like you.

Suggest you wind it in for the night and reflect on your silly posts.
 
Got the win even though the players were tired from the past week.
Very dominant but poor finishing let us down.
If we took our chances, nobody would be saying we played badly because we would have won 4-0 even though we weren't at our flowing best.

Silva looked off the boil again today and I just can't take to mahrez - he doesn't seem to have the desire that the others do.

Support isn’t forum posting - you think Pep and the lads are online crying at my comments?

I drove 5 hours in heavy traffic to attend tonight when many couldn’t be arsed given the empties.

I cheered them on and sang on the few occasions we got something going and if I want to say it was atrocious I’ll say it.
 
I think we played well overall, especially given the recent schedule, fatigue and injuries

Bernardo and Sterling changed the game but on another day we would have been 3-0 up in 20 minutes.

It is in rush hour on the M6. I’m also having to go back at 4am when I should have stayed there.

I know others travel longer but it was in response to questions over my support.

Was it a penalty? Couldn’t tell from South Stand and not seen it since.
