West Ham (H) Post Match Thread

So pleased that you noticed this. Was going to say the same. I think Pep took a gamble in this game and luckily it paid off this time. Win against Wolves and the red shite and I think it’s done.

It shouldn’t though. It’s no different to having Bernardo in the team instead of KDB, they are all midfielders.

The whole first half was disjointed. West Ham had good shape and I think the biggest issue was actually having an unfit Sergio start. That disrupted our rhythm and I felt West Ham got to our back 4 quicker and easier as a consequence.

Not had time to read the whole thread, so I don't know if this has already been posted.
Following the win today, we now have 62 points. This means we are now mathematically unable to be relegated, as Fulham, third bottom, even if they win all their remaining games, can only reach 61!
Happy days!!
As for the match, we won.
;-)

Well played Blues.

You can just score out of nothing at times, thought Mahrez was a constant threat and our young lad couldn’t handle him.

other than that, we restricted you to little. We played as well as we possibly could, everyone put in a shift and we could have nicked a point at the death.

Not disappointed with that performance at all.

The Hammers played well and made it very tough for City and don't be fooled by some of the comments on here, City didn't play shite or anything like. No, we weren't at our best, especially in the first half but we were very good in the second half when we barely gave West Ham a sniff but West Ham were very hard to break down. A very Moyes side, hope they manage to stay in the top four: currently there on merit.
