I hope they can afford some more big shovels.

They should make them do a course. I saw loads picking up a bit of snow and walking 59 yards to throw it. Not really productive.

I thought Rice was really good.

Although obviously I'm glad he was.... I thought he was a bit disappointing. Expected more from him

Happy with our performance.
we created a few chances and won a few corners, defended really well.
never ever felt like we’d get something from this game, but pleased with the performance overall.

Alot of talk about Declan Rice performance today, He done well to a certain extent breaking up play and having a good engine on him getting around, Jury is still out on him big time though about his ability on the ball always looking for an easy option or giving it away plus West Ham parked a bus today too so he had plenty of bodies around him.
Personally I don't think he's anywhere near the likes of Rodri.

This has always been the question for me. In the Euros he looked scared to death at times to show for the ball and play it through the lines. Southgate playing him AND Phillips is the wrong decision, but he's a defensive minded coach so..

I thought that too.

I said earlier that we fucking battered them today without even getting out of second gear. Scored two, hit the post twice, two cleared off the line and two disallowed.

Lot of things lining up against us today and a West Ham team who are no-one's mugs. Cracking 3 points for the Blues and good luck to the 'ammers for the rest of the season.

I was actually impressed with West Ham a bit, particularly in the first half. We know how organised they are defensively, but they attacked as an organised unit too. Rice and Soucek did a real good job of being a physical nuisance in midfield.

I think as the match went on though, they ran into the roadblock of playing against a Man City side that has taken controlling games to new heights this season.

Today , he was totally bossed by far far better footballers .
there was a moment early on when Rodri spun him a couple of times and Bernardo did something similar in the second half . The midfield totally outplayed him today .
