West Ham (H) - Post-Match Thread

Everyone has their own opinion of certain players and how we performed. Let’s all agree to disagree without resorting to personal abuse.

I thought it was a very decent performance afrer Wednesday. They have become a decent unit, but it was evident they came for a draw yesterday.
We are blessed to be watching some of the best players in the game being coached by the best manager. If we go all the way and win the PL and big ears, that will probably still not be good enough for some.
As long as we win PL, I don’t care.

Sorry to hear that.
All the WHU I knew that traveled over the yrs were a tight knit set of decent lads.
Maybe a sign of the times?.
Yes it was more disappointing really because I have known many Hammers fans over the years and they are a good bunch. There were a lot of younger fans there yesterday so we had to endure the tedious: "Where were you when you were shit etc" The truth is that we haven't been shit since the pre Keegan/Royle era and that was 20 years ago.
You expect a bit of taunting from away fans but they hardly sung about their own team and there was the usual "handbags" skirmishes with the stewards at full-time. It was all a bit pathetic and small-time. I know their fanbase is usually better than that because they were excellent in the League Cup match at their place. I am also aware that we have our fair share of dickheads.

Yesterday was a very good 3 points against a potential banana skin. We need Foden, Grealish and KDB back, then pep can rotate.

Big game against Villa now. Does anyone know when the 5 cards cut off is? Could do with Cancelo avoiding it. Still amazes me how often our players are booked for first offence
Cut off is after the 19th game so he has to get through Villa, Watford, Wolves, Newcastle, Leeds and Leicester without a booking.

Useless !Only managed to help city earn 3 points.Need to get rid and sell him in january. and buy wanpisssucker .
Not sure that helps, mate. It’s ok to say he didn’t have his best game whilst still acknowledging he’s been brilliant for a long time.

It is all about opinions, but that is seriously harsh on Walker. He is consistently good for us and his pace and power give us tremendous cover. I accept he was a bit untidy yesterday, but a number of times he was played into trouble, receiving the ball under pressure on a treacherous surface, that is not really his game.
I would sooner focus on all the stuff he does well, than the odd shaky moment in those conditions.
Every player has the odd iffy game they're not fucking machines
