West Ham (H) - Post-Match Thread

Is it my memory? Thinking back I seem to remember that the undersoil heating at Maine Road always melted the snow? I assume we have undersoil heating at the Etihad?

Melting an inch of snow quickly would cause a lot of water on the pitch. Probably turned it on after they cleared it.

I think Citeh fans are actually worse than Man U or Chelsea supporters these days
Their problem is that they're Blackburn on steroids, really.

They've also got a really big iceberg, just around the corner. Pep Guardiola, irrespective of what he nowadays represents, was a coup - almost an unrepeatable 'time and place' appointment. He will creak on until the season he wins the CL for them and then bail, by basically collapsing any real interest in the City In The Future Project.

They say Gerrard is the next big thing in the Anfield dugout, almost by wonky Hollywood narrative. Who follows Pep on that kind trajectory? Vieira?

I think they've peaked. They don't carry any international weight.

Boring.

It was quoted a couple of days ago by the head groundsman, that with the new pitches - there is soil heating - but it's more part of the growing process. With these surfaces, the snow sits on top of the grass, and there is a gap between the snow and the heat, so it's not very effective. I think that's what he meant.

One thing that worried me was how missing our chances and not making the most of our dominance could have once again cost us points. I know Fern scored in the 90th minute to make it 2-0 and the above didn't happen. How gutting would it have been though if he hadn't and with the last kick that Lanzini goal made it 1-1. We need a clinical world class striker asap.
With the chances we create perhaps a new striker doesn’t even have to be “world class”.

Ignorant cockney bellends, wtf do they know. Whoever wrote that is living in the past, probably still eats jellied eels and has Alf Garnett as a role model.

Shameless and should show more humility?
Do fuck off you tit.

A few scattered empty seats - in those conditions and we cant fill our ground. Its a viable excuse for you to not fill your allocation but not for our fans coming from the four corners - are you fucking kidding me?

Re the chants, Its partisan football chanting - you give us shit - we give you shit - ever was it thus you fucking snowflake.
