It was January 1965 in Division 2 at home to Swindon and we lost 1-2 with 8,015 in attendance. It would have been fewer had I not attended !!!

I was there in the early 60s prior to the arrival of Joe. About 20,000 or a little more or less was normal.

Used to tag along with my dad and they'd say lift him over at the Kippax turnstiles. Didn't go to the Swindon game but definitely went well to the next one Swansea. A few more blues must have rallied round for that was just over 11,000.
