David Moyes confirms Andy Carroll and Chicharito will miss West Ham's game against City. Winston Reid faces a late fitness test, while Jose Fonte is a long-term absentee.

No worries here. Expect some original bus parking from the football genius. 3-0.

At least Carroll's elbows won't be maiming anybody which is a bonus.

We may be trying to obtain such an unassailable lead in the league before we start to rotate more. The teams you are citing of rotating better than us are considerable behind in the league at the moment, so their rotation policy isn't working out too well is it?

Won't be unassailable though if we burn out the majority of our team all at once and we go through a bad spell because they're all knackered at crucial periods of the season. As for rotation not working for others, they're winning the games they've rotated in, their problem is they're just not as good as us to keep pace.

I'm not against rotating to keep the squad fresh, but I just don't think all these decisions should be made with just the derby in mind. I think it should be just one or two on rotation rather than four or five. I think that's better on for the players coming in too.

I agree with your suggestion of a few changes rather than widespread changes but those should absolutely be the players in danger of missing the Derby. We should win comfortably this weekend without them, not as easily done next week without them though.

Hopefully Zabba's return and fantastic standing ovation will then be followed with Sané tearing him to pieces. As harsh as it sounds, Sané v Zab is quite clearly our huge advantage in this match. Sané jogging is faster than Zab at full pelt. Show no mercy and get the win.

Zab and Hart on the opposite team. Expect both to get a good reception from us. But when the game starts it’s sentiment aside. We need a convincing victory to get an important week starting. Think it’ll be easier than vs Saints, unless Hart plays like he did vs Dortmund 1-1 or Spurs 0-0.
Let’s keep the homerecord in tact.

Hart can't play, he's on loan.

If the rags lose to Arsenal I expect an interesting....cough....performance from the officials. No way will the powers that be want us going 11 points clear so early in the season.

We need to rest our players one booking from a suspension, with them on the bench if needed late on. B. Silva looked decent when he came on late so should be able to do a job, hopefully Gundogan or Toure to fill in for Ferna.
