I wouldn't have had Kompany or Fernandinho on the bench, but i'm really happy with that team. Pep's really taking no chances at all. Will be fascinating to see how Danilo or Delph does in the Fernandinho role. Either should be fine with the defensive side of the role. If they are able to effectively get the ball to Silva and De Bruyne in good positions we could be looking at a big win here.

Let's hope we start scoring early goals again. If we're in front around the 60 minute mark, we need to get Sane off the pitch. I'd like to see if Bernardo can play on the left. Also, get Gundogan on for De Bruyne when we can.

3-0 City

Would have preferred Fernandinho and Kompany. We do tend to have a big decline with our squad players.

Only the one goalkeeper? ;)

I guess we cannot blame managers not wanting to get a tonking but I’m sick of watching it.
I can understand it,why would you run the risk of getting a hammering, teams will set up to give themselves a chance it’s boring as fuck but although it hasn’t worked ( so far) for Huddersfield or Southampton it did sort of keep them in the game with them hoping for corners or free kicks.

Interesting lineup, wondering if we're going 3 at the back with wingbacks or delph (or danilo?) is playing midfield? either way, good game to test this type of thing out.

Would've thought Zinchenko would make the bench and got some minutes as a sub for Sane.

Resting Kompany, Sane, Fernandinho tomorrow is essential. We need them for the derby. Suspended for Swansea but so be it.
All this resting players is nonsense, apart from Ferna possibly.
A team needs to be picked to win the game first of all.
If as a result of that, players can be rested that's fine.
I am all for player rotation, but let's get the game won, keep the winning run going, keep the team spirit high and the steamroller rolling along.

Exactly! The world expects them to get nothing, goal difference is often important at the end of the season and no-one enjoys a busy holiday season getting 4 or 5 put past them! This Hammers team is already a bit fragile, they have players missing, and Moyes can’t afford another shellacking, so he’s doing what he can to not get one! Don’t blame him and just hope City are getting more used to what to expect from bottom 6 teams and have plans to address “the bus.”

I just hope we get an early goal if we can, completely changes the game for them and doesn’t see us get frustrated...

Seems he isn't too keen on Jesus starting at the moment.
Really hasn’t been at his best recently, honestly. Agüero’s getting more chances each game & finding himself in better positions. Plus he creates way more.

Only issue is that he’s still a bit rusty converting those chances. Maybe he just need some consistent starts to get going again.
