cue the west ham goalie booting it down wind when eddies at the edge of his box and it sailing over his head into the netIt's going to be very, very wet.

Totally agree, motivation probably the wrong word, I think there's something in his subconscious that's holding him back, he's gone back to taking the extra touches instead of pulling the trigger or taking his opponent on etc. Footballer equivalent of writers block...I don't think his motivation is to be questioned,i think there is more to his form than that,he rarely gets injured but an enforced rest might help
Yes, reverted back to the player we bought.Totally agree, motivation probably the wrong word, I think there's something in his subconscious that's holding him back, he's gone back to taking the extra touches instead of pulling the trigger or taking his opponent on etc. Footballer equivalent of writers block...

Lump your savings on it thenGiven the expected weather conditions and our apparent lack of real motivation ( scared of picking up an injury in 50:50 tackles and missing the cup games), a dull 0-0 at 40/1 looks a pretty good bet.
I was wondering that when i saw the forecast this morning. 60-80mph winds, torrential rain all day, thunder and lightning, sounds pretty grim.Given the dreadful weather forecast, now including lightning, could a postponement be an option?

I read a reply from City Support on twitter saying they can confirm that the games going to take place, not sure how they can without seeing what the weather is like tomorrow, but there you go.I hope not, 30 visitors from Prague over for it, including 18 of their academy players!
They're doing the tour today and they'll be on the pitch before kick-off.
I know, bloody tourists!
