No better sight than spaniels ears.Just let the spaniel out in Bolton.
Think he should be at the Etihad in about 15 minutes the way the wind took his ears

I reckon the storm will have passed by kickoff and all it achieves is it exacerbates our fixture schedule and deprives us of the chance to bounce back (unless it is rescheduled before our visit to the Bernabeu). Going to a game is made by adults who should have the ability to weigh up whether it is safe to travel or not.
Followed by ffs when they're told their flights are cancelled.
That sound you're hearing?
The whooping of Wags, bits on the side and the lifting of Louis Vuitton luggage being dragged to the limo earlier than planned.
Think of them and our players in their hour of need...
Have googled. Two games abandoned (as @tolmie's hairdoo said) verses Ipswich. My memory is from January 1994 when City were 2-0, abandoned by the ref David Ellery because of the state of the Mane Road pitch. You remember the Worthington cup quarter final in December 2000, City had just equalised (1-1) and Graham Poll suspended the game for 15 minutes again due to the waterlogged Maine Road surface. He had an attempted kick about the linesmen after a couple of minutes then abandoned the game at the 23 minute mark. Ahh, not so happy days...I wonder if anyone else can confirm?
My memory is hazy
or perhaps I know its a long shot but perhaps City are putting the safety of its fans before the finances of the TV companies ..
Our next game is 22/02 they can still have a week in the sun most of us can't afford.
That being said it'll end up I think being a spring evening game when we've got a cup semi/final to play 2 days later...
Yes, it sounded like you had experience of such a thing but amongst all the other stuff being posted about the weather and the game being on or off, your post was a little gem.I was being serious, used to affect our phone and TV with VM.
