How was it your neck of the woods.
The wind wasn't crazily bad. We're sort of used to 60-70mph storms in the west. Those soft as fuck English though; anything over 35mph and they think the end of the world is nigh. The rain, though, was something else. Even by Mayo standards. Still breezy outside, but the sun is shining in the window. A bit nippy, mind.
 
Why would it fly to Amsterdam when it could go to Birmingham or Heathrow? It was struggling before on its second approach, both wings dipping everywhere.

Both those won’t take any diverts, already having enough issues themselves. LHR already switched runways over
