I was criticising Doku to every friend I could message at half time for his lazy tracking back - especially for their goal - then messaged them all again to take it back early in the 2nd half

Bernado is soooo fucking good - a lot of his effort goes under recognised

Rodri is fucking immense

Ederson is superb - he is not appreciated more widely because he is not called upon as much as others

City could be unbeaten this season

I thought Grealish was under Pep's orders not to take on defenders as it risks losing the ball. Either I thought wrong, or Doku didn't get the same orders, or he's just better at taking on defenders.

Work on the assumption that not all bluemoon accounts are City fans and it becomes clearer.

Impressive win.

West Ham have some decent quality and a very well organised defensively and quick on the counter but we were different gravy.

City didn’t help themselves by conceding the first goal, which gave relatively short lived credence to Moyes’ game plan.

Areola’s heroics kept West Ham in the game for far longer than the balance of play warranted but City didn’t flinch and once they took the lead, the Irons were screwed and a Haaland goal was almost inevitable.

I didn’t go today and to be honest I wasn’t fussed, just feels like such a dead rubber match.
I know that’s so defeatist but I just have zero hope when we play you. Anyone else in PL I feel we have a chance.

Glad to hear we put in a shift though, Paqueta, JWP and Areola getting a lot of praise - we’re in a great place at present so I’m a happy hammer despite the defeat.

Nice win for you Blues and I don’t see anyone but yourselves for the title.

It was a strange game. You played really well and could have won. But if Haaland had his shooting boots on we could have won 8-1

It’s actually scary how many Haaland could actually score if he didn’t miss a fair few. Not knocking him. One of the best strikers ever already. Just some games I think Jesus, he should have had about 5 goals!

Blue Hammer 85 deserves respect. You disrespect him by stating West Ham could have won the game when they were outplayed for 90 minutes. We could and probably should have won 8-1 yes. Haaland could have had the easiest of hattricks so far and missed two sitters Sterling no doubt would have put away.
I thought West Ham was set by Moyes the only way Moyes knows. I have a soft spot for West Ham but imho they were very mediocre as a team playing at home. And we were simply very good and progressing.
