We need more goal scorers.

Doku, Foden, Reijnders etc just don't score.

He doesn’t carry the team. IMO he’s degraded the team….. in the 2 seasons before he signed,
We scored 182 goals
We conceded 58
We gained 185 points

In his first 2 (best?) seasons
We scored 190 goals - 8 more
We conceded 67 - 9 more
We gained 180 points - 5 less

No doubt there are other factors at play in those stats and, there’s no doubt in the right setup he’s a phenomenal goalscorer but in our setup, (imo) we’re not as good a team with him.

Same as the set piece coach we employ. Just settled for mediocrity now with everyone too comfy.

We have a set piece coach? You could have fooled me, because I struggle to believe that we haven't got any players, with the ability to hit a decent in swinging corner with the right trajectory and with good pace.

If non of them are capable, then they should be working on the training ground until they are capable. The amount of corners we get, it's criminal wasting them.

I know it's disappointing not winning away at West Ham.
But you have to give credit to their keeper and defence they didn't deserve to lose.
Anybody who's been watching us this season or last season knew we wasn't winning the league.
Hopefully the two points dropped helps send Spurs down.

I’d like to see Doku stay from that list. He can frighten the fuck out of defenders on a regular basis.

We might try to console ourselves with the fact that we are still in 2 Cups but for a Club with the stature we have our season is over. Out of CL and Title Race.
If we are to take stock we have not really progressed from last season either in terms of playing style or having squad of players that one would feel confident of being able to challenge for the title next season. The re-build is far from complete and in fact may be further off. There is no sign of Phil coming back and Haaland'sform like Phil's appears to also have dropped off a cliff. In terms of that re-build 3 players brought in as part of that, Doku, Savinho and Reijnders do not appear to be capable of consistently delivering a level of play required for a title winning side. They have to be replaced and again it might take a season for them to adjust.
This is not about entitlement but a realisation that we had believed the Management structure at the Club was the best in class but has shown itself to be just as fallible as every other club management structure.
As for Pep I really not know what to think. Of course he has credit in the bank but increasingly his selections, slowness in response to the use of subs and failure to adapt tactically has become a real test of loyalty.

Cherki and Foden cannot tackle. If we play both then we would need a 5 man midfield, which might be ok! For me, playing against these packed defences we just seem totally static, no movement, no runs into the box, no one (apart from Cherki) willing to try something different. It seems to be playing by numbers where the opposition know those numbers in advance. We need to take more risks, we have drawn 7 games, winning 3 of those games and losing 4 would have gotten us 9 points rather than the 7 we have.

I didn't mind the line up beforehand, but playing with no width in that first half was dire to watch. Two big chances missed again, and Donnarumma dropping another clanger, it's all too familiar.

This team would have been better against Madrid and the Madrid team would have been better here, as far as I can tell.

If by regular basis you mean the 3/4 game purple patch he has every 50+ game season then yes, he does that on a regular basis

I saw a lot of fight tonight. Hard to get through a West Ham defence with 10 outfield players in their own box.They got their point but there was only one team in it. Calling players cowards is going too far.
We should have defended the corner that led to their goal. Mavropanos I think it it was , was allowed a free header .

Who from out of interest? Enough to keep themselves in a title race or enough to pull the wool over your eyes?

I'm sorry but you can't tell me any one of them showed the courage you'd expect from a team fighting to stay in a title race. The slow lacklustre football is a result of this, not one of them wants to step up and be the one to make the difference.

Hard to get through a West Ham defence who've conceded 55 goals in 30 games? Give me a break. We made it hard for ourselves with the continued slow turgid football we play.
