Jeeez talk about an over reaction - it's in our hands! beat Villa and its done. They also play Thursday night btw against a Burnley team who are fighting.

I'd have took a point before the game. West Ham are a decent team. However, after the first half I'd say the point is fantastic.

Just watching the replay and Cresswell was encroaching as the ball was struck, so the penalty should have been retaken, as he then cleared the rebound. Still, VAR were never going to give us 2 decisions, let alone the 3 they should have!

Hard to know how to feel, pleased with a point from 2-0 down, disappointed that we’ve let it slip with yet another missed penalty at a crucial time. Defensively we looked all over the show at times and I guess were fortunate not to concede a third. Got to turn up and show our mettle against Villa on Sunday cos whatever Gerrard says, he’ll be desperate to help Liverpool.

I can. He missed a penalty. One that would have effectively won us the League. People are naturally disappointed and venting. It wasn’t a great penalty.

Added to that he was anonymous for most of the match and did sod all defensively. He is a luxury player that has some sublime skill but frankly, across all seasons he has been with us if you were to assess him objectively he’s not quick, can only play one position and is the worst defensive player of anyone else in our team.

Obviously disappointed after the draw, but only because of the penalty miss. Good response from City in the 2nd half. Glad we got a point after being 2 down. Let's hope Southampton play well on Tuesday.

At this stage of the season have to view that as one point gained. However, with the penalty miss it's also hard not to see it as 2 points dropped. It's still in our own hands which is all you can ask for. Come on City!!!!

You could also say when ferna passed it back to the West Ham player, he should have scored, we did well to get the point and we are still in pole position

Totally agree but I think people are cursing how we managed to let two in, in the first half and then fail to pick up the three points because of a missed penalty.

All in all I would have taken a draw at the start (as I predicted) and definitely would have at half time, though I did think we might win it from then. TBF I wasn't really fazed at the half, something inside of me said we weren't going to lose,

There is no way Zinchenko will start against Villa. I would also say Fernandinho shouldn't be anywhere near a CB starting spot if Ake is fit next week.

Lots going on in Zinnys head but even in normal circumstances he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team in big games. Ake is a much better option.

KDB has missed as many for us as Mahrez has. Either of them could have scored or missed it.

Fair enough. I still maintain Kev was a better player to take it, whether he scored or missed it (even though I think Kev more likely scores it in this situation), for the reasons I outlined in another post.

Positives - Good result with a patched up defence, away against a difficult team fighting for a place in Europe.

Negatives - The disgusting reaction of sadly what is a large number of idiots on here slagging off a team and manager that have given us the best days of our lives EVER following City, when things aren't quite going how they seem to think we have a god-given right to expect them to go.

Watching the team makes me proud to be a Blue. Listening to you lot makes me ashamed.

Never ever slagged off Pep....so no idea where you got that one from...Id defend Pep no matter what.

We really can't sling a couple of youngsters into the heart of the defence in a title deciding game, it could break them irreparably.

We got away with one there, they focused on our weak spots and it paid off for them in the first half.
I love Fernandinho, for what he's done for us, but he was awful and his mistakes almost cost us the title.

A great response in the second half though and we should've won the game really.

Maybe he's moving to the swamp in the summer
