Probably because with Arsenal likely to beat Everton at home, even a draw for us is probably going to see us out of two competitions in the space of 3 days.

We then have Arsenal in the League Cup final next weekend.

Lose that on top of the first two and it's pretty much season over on the space of 10 days.
We will win at WH.
Not writing us off for next Tuesday either.
Im not an optimist I’m just used to the rollercoaster.

With many players fit now the bench will be too small for them all.

Be interesting to see who'll be left home.
two of Ake, Stones, Lewis, Khus, Ait Nouri enough for bench.
OReilly was out of the Forest match squad now fit so one more than Lewis will be left out I guess. Stones my guess.
not sure if Alleyne is injured or not but he aint featuring much. poor guy we brought him back threw him into deep end and now wondering if he would be better off playing at Watford gaining match experience.

Don't underestimate Everton their away record is very impressive, won 4 of the last 5 away & away record is only bettered by arsenal this season.

Doku, Rodri and Haaland off the bench with 30 munutes to go.

Going to be funny to see how the Haaland bench advocates react if it indeed happens and City lose here.

If anything, he shouldn't start the Madrid game.

Alleyne is fit again and played with the young lads last week.
His time at Watford should not have been interrupted. It was a short term gain for us.
