West Ham's last away day ended in a 5-0 defeat to Chelsea. I still don't get the total flapping with this. We were quite comfortable in the earlier fixture despite them taking the lead. Doku had plenty of joy in this fixture. Besides that similar to our last opponents they aren't too keen on Arsenal despite the Declan Rice connection. They will be professional but not highly motivated.

Because of the Declan Rice connection and West Ham Fans can’t stand Tarquins

West Ham, just like Tottenham, will give us a game, so we know it will be tough. However, all we have ever wanted was to go into this game with our destiny in our own hands, and we’ve earned that right. It’s disappointing that we’ll likely go into it minus Grealish, Stones, and Ake, maybe even Ederson, as their experience would help settle the inevitable nerves. As such, with a fairly solid platform behind them, success will largely depend on Haaland, Foden, and particularly de Bruyne, showing poise in the final third and playing the game and not the occasion. Early goals would be nice, of course, but in these games if it remains scoreless, it’s important just to keep possession and trust the process rather than trying to force things.

Why am I nervous? We're playing well, we're in a good rhythm, West Ham are awful away and nothing to play for.

Why am I nervous?

I'm never one to say every match is a given, never had that attitude and never will. Yes I feel confident but I just have this horrible feeling of shit what if?

Just want us to get the job done and done in an efficient and non nervous way.

There's a gig on at the arena. FFS. No wonder it was a chew on getting a parking space.

Why am I nervous?

Because it's City and in pretty much every single title race we've been in, we had to win it on the last day after going a goal (or two!) down and coming from behind.

I hope we can make a real statement on the final day. Be lovely to have a better GD than Arsenal by the end of Sunday as well given how free scoring we’ve been told they are. No complacency no nerve shredding drama would also be nice.
Dirty Dyche's Desperados will fuck them over with their shithousery.

Alan cunting smith saying West Ham will be buoyed by our celebrations at spurs. All we did was the players came and applauded the fans as normal and celebrated winning a tough game that media cunts like smith told us we wouldn’t cos we had never scored there in the league. Pep didn’t even come over, presumably because we’ve won nothing yet.

Now anyone who was at the emirates when we lost to a late last minute deflection, incredible celebrations. Outside the ground it was like they had actually won the league. The date? October the fucking 8th!

Early goal would be good but i feel like it might a nervous first half again, they are only human and potential history makers is some pressure to have , a whole years work can be lost so they wont want to be the one who makes a mistake

Think it will be something like 2-1 to us
Performance under pressure is the hallmark of elite sportsmen. I think it will be more comfortable than some think. 4-0.
