Re the SOUTHAMTON DEBACLE ...

We rested players at Southampton away to give a better account of ourselves in Madrid the following Wednesday. Then we had one shot on target throughout and across the enrirety of the tie. Fucking why? The damage this would do to our top four chances was plain to see. It is completely ridiculous that we have to hope West Ham help save our bacon. I am proper wound up that we could be so stupid.

People are down playing West Ham here. The atmosphere is going to be incredible tonight. It's their last game at the Boleyn and there will be huge emotion, only Spurs or Millwall would have been a more ideal game for them in their last one at the famous ground. I don't think the fans will be so emotional that the players take their eyes off the game. They'll be appealing every decision, no ref is going to give a dodgy decision against West Ham tonight and risk ruining their last game. Add to that the chance of European football for them and Bilic knows the club so well and will be desperate for European football next season at their new ground.

West Ham got thrashed last weekend too so they'll sort their defence out. 0-0 or 3-3 I reckon. I can't see the rags winning it.

I'm hoping the porn barons have put the players on a mega win bonus tonight. Stuff the rags 4-0 and their angry fans will demolish the stadium for them.
 
The rags will win as they have momentum at the moment. They keep winning and that breeds confidence. Their gobshite fans are all out of their holes bragging like old times and I hate myself for saying it but they'll win tonight. The hammers will be playing the occasion and not the game, too much pressure on them. We've fucked it big time and relying on others for snookers ain't gonna happen. Good luck west ham.

The Southampton game we're referring to is the last one at Maine Road.

At least, that's the one I was talking about.
