West ham Vs City Post Match Thread

Blame lays firmly at the feet of the manager.

The entire defence is a fucking horror show.

Well done West Ham, you fought for the right to win.

Our team has tossed the title defence away even earlier than we did under Mancini.

I would argue the entire league fancy their chances against us at present if they outwork us.

Awful attitude by some of the players, looked like they couldnt be arsed up until 75 mins when it was too late. Should be getting a bollocking off pellegrini after this but doubt that will happen

Shit for 45 mins in Moscow, shit for 65 mins today.

Chelsea are going to piss the league by 10 points is my prediction.

Bloody rubbish that !!!
Why did it take an hour before Pellergrini did anything .
I could see this happening before even started the game .
I laughed at all those City fans who thought this was going be easy .
Never in a million years should the manager think that was acceptable .

Disgraceful performance by some players today

Only Hart and Yaya along with Kolarov and Jovetic actually played well.

The entire defence at fault for the first goal.

Navas and Clichy need to learn how to cross a ball.

Pellegrini has some MAJOR questions to answer.

Obvious the team wasn't working after 20 minutes, persisted to HT when changes should have been made - they weren't. Instantly after they were made and the shape changed, we were much much better - why persist with Dzeko when it was obvious to all that he was the weak link and the shape wasn't working??

some important stuff learned today, firstly, Dzeko is not good enough and should never start ahead of a fit Jovetic again, Clichy is pap and we should abandon once and for all this ludicrous two up front especially away from home. Brave fight back later on but too many chances scorned.
This season is turning out to be so like the 2012/13 title defence fiasco.

1) Piss poor start. first 45 mins were a joke
2) energy and pressing shown in the second half is what we need to do in the first 30. We would be 2 or 3-0 up easily if we play like that. That's what top teams do, look at Bayern's match press press causing mistakes and maintaining possession.
3) Jovetic superb. He has to start and on the lelft side. Goal scoring wide option, keeps posession, and allows Silva in the middle to influence.
4) What a goal from Silva, but that's twice he has scored in a game we lost whereas before we always won
5) We were unlucky in the end, 3 or 4 clear cut chances but liek Moscow we have ourselves to blame, didn;t start strong

Said it in the prematch thread, I'd have liked to see
-------------------Hart----------------
Zabba---Komp-----Mangala--Kolarov
---------------Fernando---------------------
----------Yaya--------Fernandinho--------
Silva-----------Aguero-------------Jovetic

in this match and when we changed to:
-------------------Hart----------------
Zabba---Komp-----Mangala--Kolarov
------------yaya---Fernando----------------
Navas-----------Silva-------------Jovetic-
-------------------Aguer---------------------

we werwe much superior. Of course, the work rate was one of the reason, but it losing ball 60% of the time up the pitch had a lot to do with it.

HONESTLY HAD WE STARTED THIS WAY WE WOULD HAVE WON 5-0 or more

No point in over reacting we didn't deserve to win despite 70 per cent possession. If the team that finished had started it could have been different. Everyone calling Mangala and Clichy - but my biggest concern is Fernando he looks static and the combination of him and Yaya is a nightmare - we won't win games walking around. Need some energy in central midfield.
