See certain players are getting dogs abuse but the whole of the back four were shite today not just one or two .
Fucking awful first half, battered them after hauling Dzeko off for Jovetic and really should of won the game, yet alone get a draw.
Clichy is just abysmal, he destroys our team. All game Mangala was having to cover both the LB area and CB area, while their winger had a free run at him all game. He stopped him 5 or 6 times when confronted one on one, but let him past once when he had too much speed built up and it resulted in a goal (thanks also to Zaba making a pigs ear of it). It's unreasonable to expect CB's to have wingers or strikers running at them one one one that many times in a game, it's bound to cause problems! No other team leaves their CB's so exposed on so many occasions in a game, it's suicide.
Dzeko was absolute dogshit, but I doubt that needs mentioning. Aguero had one of his days where he looks a threat but it just doesn't happen. Jovetic improved us immeasurably and should surely start ahead of Dzeko against the rags next week. Clichy needs selling, or just never playing again as he is far more likely to create a goal for the opposition than he is for us at the moment.

Agree with this but I'd come at it from a different tack.
We always struggle against powerful sides away who throw everything at us and our approach (under Mancini too) was to persist with our usual style of play and assume our quality would see us through.

What the rags used to do in such instances was fight fire with fire - set themselves up with their most combative players and just have a free-for-all. THEN their quality saw them through.
Should have started with Milner, Kolorov, Jovetic (who will work harder than Dzeko), and just fucking go at them from the first minute pumped up and at it.
Instead we allow ourselves to get battered.
You have to question the logic being applied and why it isnt being addressed.

Also Clichy is finished. He's been awful this season. Made mistakes for both their goals.
The need for calm is upon us! Bad result today yes, but we have to realise that changes are needed for us to progress. Mangala and Fernando were supposed to be the next step but both need to be phased into the team slowly - they cannot play when pressed and much like a lot of players who we have signed will take time to understand the premier league. Manuel got it wrong today only because we needed a calm head at the back and he should have played MD also Edin needs a rocket - his touch is so poor and his effort since his new contract is unacceptable - It was like playing with 10 men when he was on. Once we changed our shape we looked unstoppable, if only we had done that at half time! Silva showed what he is and at the end was one of the few who really looked peed off. Complacency is not good and it is now up to Manuel to change that attitude. And, given Chelsea's start change it quickly. Not too calm I guess I am fuming. It is all too comfortable for some of our high paid players. Don't get me started on the two bad misses from six yards…I need a drink.
