What a club!

Puts all that ‘this means more’ and ‘more than a club’ nonsense to shame. I believe they have made several such visits since lifting the trophy. Well done City. My good wishes to Mike and family.
Thank you x

These days we're probability the most scrutinised, patronised and belittled club in English football.
Reading story's like Mike's, which we'll never read or hear in the media, shows it truly is a wonderful club.
not reading the stories in the press indicates the class of the club.
they do these things because they are the right/good things to do.

they don't do them for publicity or to make "the brand" be seen in a better light.
they don't have the press intruding on the family on an especially difficult time.

Our club is battered daily by the media and general public but on Friday I was witness to how special and wonderful Manchester City really are.
My Dad, a season ticket holder for 70 years is now receiving end of life care at home and has been given just weeks to live. He wasn’t well enough to witness most of last season or any of this but on Friday the club paid him a visit at home with the Premier League trophy!
I’ve not seen him this happy and excited for such a long time and for my family and I it was a truly amazing and emotional afternoon. To see him like that after all the suffering was magical and something I will never forget.
We are blessed to follow such an incredible club. Thank you City from the bottom of my heart
I have witnessed this multiple times by City, they are an incredible club.
Wishing you and your family all the best!!

The club respond well in situations like this.
A friend of mine has been in two hospitals and a rehabilitation unit for almost two and a half years. His wife died during that time and the club sent a video message of support from KDB and a huge bunch of flowers. There were still some Covid restrictions at the time so a visit was out of the question. They also gave him and his carers tickets to the Mancunian Suite for the game against Forest following a request from a relative.
