What a little ****....

He can't be that clever because he's now between a rock and a hard place. If he has a great World Cup, that will alert other clubs, probably in Europe, who want to sign him, and of course they would have to pay us a fat fee. But would he want to go to another club in Europe?

If he has a crap World Cup, then his stock would drop and maybe there would be no offers, apart from Santos, where he wants to stay. Problem here is that if he does have a crap World Cup, the Brazilian fans might turn on him so his love in with their fans would stop. Added to that Santos can't afford him anyway.

So if you were Robinho, would you deliberately have a crap World Cup, or would you do your best for your country?

I suspect he'd happily go back to Spain. I reckon it is particularly us and maybe England that he has the problem with. If Barcelona wanted him, he'd jump the Santos ship before you could say, "stupid little c*nt."

I would love him back personally, fucking love him back

That's fair enough. Does it bother you at all when he says things like this? And does your desire to see him back depend on him trying his best and playing well. Because to be honest, given his attitude towards the club, I think that is very unlikely, even if we do give him the opportunity.

I just find it incrredible the amount of kids on here who see a sentence reportedly "said by Robinho" in the Daily Mirror/Star et al, and start whining on here how they can't stand him, isn't fit to wear the shirt etc. I'd love him back - has undoubted quality and if he's on his game then he'll be a plus to us. If not, we don't play him, simple.

So you don't believe he said those things? That's fair enough. If he didn't then someone, either in Brazil or at City should come out and officially tell us that he does want to come back and make a fist of things. Personally, at the moment, I believe he doesn't want to come back and is showing a massive lack of respect for the club. I worry that if he does come back then he will cause problems in the squad which is not what we need with relations in the dressing room supposedly already fragile. I'd give him away because I doubt anyone would pay a fee for him at the moment given the way he has agitated his way out of Real and now City. Either that or just make him stay at home and play for nobody for a year.

this hurts and that's the reason for the reaction. maybe i don't speak for all but certainly a lot. people have invested a lot of emotion in this little twat. i'm gutted because he gave me a a couple of the happiest city memories of my life. i took my lad to the blackburn game at the end of the season under hughes. got him the home shirt numbered with robinho 10 before the game. on the way my lad (who was between us and united) said if robinho scored he'd be a full on city fan. anyhow, as we all know robbie scored 2 in a 3-1 win. we had our best day together at a match.
now the fucker has stabbed us all in the back. unless we can get at least £25 million, i'd make him suffer.

I think you are pretty much spot on, it hurts because we were all desperate for him to succeed and become a City-legend.

Now I just try to avoid reading anything about him, imho he has let himself and us down.

I hope he has a succesfull worldcup so the sheik can make some of his money back, if not then bring him back to City and make him work for his salary.

I will be seriously pissed of if he is allowed to extend his holiday on the beach in Brazil.

I thought it was all Hughes' fault, couldn't handle big names, Mancini would sort it...

look, make Santos pay 30 mil for him, and if they don't,back he comes. straight into the res
