Globally its been seismic, even though we all knew it was happening, the rest of the world didn't want to believe it, they can now suck it up.

I thought it was very interesting indeed that the club statement said "discussion that were curtailed in 2012". That's there for a reason, and my guess is that if it wasn't for a certain Mr Aguero, Guardiola would have been our manager that summer. It fits with so many other things too: Mancini's contract with the Russian club, his general demeanour at the time and even after the victory, the rumours of his resignation, the long delay on our summer spending. I was wondering why they included it in the statement but I guess it can only be one thing: this has been on the cards for years and that is why Pellegrini is not a victim, he could even be seen as a beneficiary. City have played the long game.

This part sounds better we've still got a chapter to finish first let's not gloat .
