Vodka and Coke. Red Square..I pushed the boat out. Gotta give it a rest after tonight though.

Your telling me, that's a long fucking way to go for a drink.

:) if you want the good stuff you gotta travel.
That's the trouble with this drink though, it makes you ache. I'm not sure if it's that or all the rowing I have to do to go and get it.

How about a Moscow Mule?

It'd sink wouldn't it?

I had some organic Mill Street beer lager yesterday, pretty good and refreshing. It's not strong beer at all, I think it's around 4.5% , you can notice a big difference between a Stella and Becks which probably are a percentage more

Even though it's a bit of a womans drink I got drunk on gin and tonic on Friday, pretty much get drunk on it every Friday night. It's something I hated when younger but quite like the bitterness of the tonic and the flavour of the gin

My Mum brang me a bottle of 15 year old Auchentoshan yet to crack that open, I like the 12 year old as it's not too overpowering so if it's as good as that I'll be happy enough

I've now moved on to Balvenie 12 year old Doublewood with a few drops (maybe a half-teaspoon) of water.

There was a time, maybe 6-7 years ago, when I though this version of Balvenie was a good whisky, but I think my tastes have changed and it no longer seems like anything special.

Still, if the supermarkets take enough off the standard price between now and Christmas I dare say I'll buy another bottle at some point.
