Saltine crackers are the ONLY acceptable accompaniment to Chili.....and lots of Tobasco

They are, but not like that I always thought the acceptable method of serving was saltines broken up and scattered on top

You are indeed correct, I normally use about half a sleeve of crackers, crush them in the plastic and empty right over the top. The picture was all I could find on google:).
