What are your unpopular opinions on City that you believe 100%?

it has to be one of the least uplifting club anthems in English football.

"You saw me standing alone"
the fans, players and the managers do relate with it. out of all big clubs City is sidelined most of the time.
others are always there to speak shit about City when fans express their happiness in City's success.
city players don't receive deserved recognition let alone awards. same goes for manager.
this might motivate them to prove they are the best to themselves not the outside world.

maybe I am daydreaming
maybe I am kidding
who knows

He was class in the derby
Correct but.... he was the only [regular] player that never scored in a crucial game that season (i.e. a goal in a single goal margin victory) all the others did.

Joe Hart made countless crucial saves but the one against Villa when we won 1-0 secured the three points.

Don't get me wrong, Micha was fabulous as was the whole squad but..... he never directly contributed to a single goal victory game.

Foden's 150th appearance. I reckon I know who I can trust with the development of young talents in our academy, and it isn't the perpetual teens of Bluemoon.
Look at it. On the night that we won 5-0, Foden made his 150th appearance and Liam Delap (aged 18) played in the last 16 of the champions league in a packed stadium. It's a thing of dark beauty in it's pig-headed, lip-curling ignorance:

Correct mate, I didn't see Delap touch the ball either. I spent the last 20 minutes shitting it that someone was gonna do a Walker & get sent off, or get injured. I get Fern for Rodders & Zin getting a run out, but I'd have taken Cancelo off & left Stones on.

However, the kids should have been given the chance to experience a CL away game. There was few reasons not to, & just imagine what it would have meant to them...

Think of the kids! The poor kids! How will they ever survive only being substitutes in a CL knock out tie when real top teams like United give their fledglings every opportunity to fly. We deserve better.

I know. It’s been a whole three days since three of them played in the premier league on live TV. They’ll be putting in transfer requests before the end of the week.
