I don't think there are many blues in Walkden

There wasn't many when I was growing up there. Walkden,Worsley and all the other surrounding areas were mostly rag infested.

There's was hardly any when I was growing up round little Hulton/Walkden seems to be a few more but not many.

Of the places I have lived at one point or another I'd say Longsight was red, Fallowfield was mixed, Withington was blue, Didsbury was blue, Ashton was mixed, Denton/ Dane Bank very much blue. I've worked in Bredbury for years and I'd say that area of Stockport is definitely blue. We'll take the whole city back in the next ten years!

Middleton is definitely a blue area. Especially last season because a lot of people aren't really into football anymore. They would rather go on a bike ride than watch certain teams play.......
Yeh midd is full of blues, pretty much every pub shows them & other games for that matter. Ocaisionally I go in carsons whenever I cant make a game

You should go to the Albion, that is the blue pub in Middleton and it has the famous love lounge group

For home games you could be sat on your own until we all arrive back

I always thought the general rue of thumb was the southern and eastern parts of the Manchester were mainly City, whereas the western and northern areas had a higher proportion of united fans.

Not in Radcliffe it aint

Sale is mainly red although the racecourse seems to be blue.

I lived in Sale Moor in the 70s and 80s and there were plenty of match-going blues, GMT used to put on a couple of matchday special buses starting from Sale Moor.

Disley 50/50 but only know a couple od reds that go.

New Mills more red than blue.
New Mills has got a solid core of match going blues.

Plus, what constitutes being either a Blue or a Red ? There's loads of plastic rags round here who never go but most of the Blues are match going. I suspect if the question is simply of allegiance vs match going fans then the demographic changes.
good post but there will be many blues staying away who cant/wont pay the daft prices of tickets
