Ahh that was the one with the brewery was it ? while ago now since i drank around those parts.

Many moons ago when I used to collect Beermats,we had our Local Meetings there and it was fairly new in those days.Alas I read an article in the MEN some months ago,that someone of Blue Moon had criticised the new owners,compairing it to a "shit hole" as they used to frequent the pub on matchdays,but claimed it was run down.The MEN asked the Owner for a comment and claimed a lot of students now used the place !! Very unusual comment but probably oh so true.

got 4 boxes of 'mixed Belgian' in each box 2 hoegarden, 2 Stella and 2 Leffe Blonde. Should last me tomorrow.

I'll be honest Oakie, whilst I've drank Leffe and Stella to no-end, It's the first time I've had Hoegaarden. (Just poured one now) verdict: Doesn't look nice in the glass but tasted pretty good. Can't say I've ever had wheat beers before. Not bad...not bad at all.

The taste far outways the actual look or as the old saying goes "never judge a book by its cover".One of the pubs a few miles from me ,a CAMRA Pub used to have it on draught.Superb paphos,but for some its an acquired taste.

Mini keg of purple moose (merry xmoose).
8 cans of black sheep ale.
20 cans of guinness.
20 cans of boddies.
20 bottles of becks.
20 bottles of stella.
24 bottles of sauvignon blanc.
1lt of captain morgan spiced rum.
1lt of woohoo.

Fair to say that this Christmas, will be very merry!.

Bloody hell not drank that for years.The original was Guinness with Champagne ... not that I ever had the ackers to try that version.
