Ever had one of those things they shove up your nose that then goes back down your throat?? I was only 18 and though WTF are they DOING??

I've woken up with a tube shoved down my japs eye. That wasn't pleasant, the tube was huge. It went from japs eye to surprised eye. I'm glad I was unconscious when they did it.
The feeling when they take it out is weird.

Sadly I broke a lads leg in school kicking a ball at his shin as he put his foot down hard on the ground. The noise was awful and his screaming worse.

Some treatments seem almost archaic at times. Although having a lung pumped up after puncture was also pretty bad. They insert a tube (after cutting a hole in your side) and then pump the lung back up.

The pain that accompanied the withdrawing of the tube a few days later nearly made me pass out.

But then again, I was only 18 and a bit of a wuss. Although I had been through labour only 18 months before so I should have been ready. ;-)

Too late to stop him but saw my brother get run over when he was 9 (I was 12) .. heard his head smash on the road and his legs break ... he was a mess ..still makes me feel sick thinking of it ..

I used to have the best gp in london a few years back


went to get a top up on the mentalist medication and she asked to look at my leg, after looking at it she asked me if i had been drinking a lot recently, when i replied i had she informed me when i sobered up iwas going to be in a lot of pain so i should either drink forever or get to a hospital, turns out my leg had been fractured in two places for a few days,

boy was she right though, i sobered up and shit it hurt
