Anyone read 'City of Mirrors' yet? Third in the Justin Cronin trilogy? I'm not really enjoying it at all, was really looking forward to this book.
On a side note, anyone any ideas if Patrick Rothfuss's third book will be released for the kingkiller chronicles anytime in the next decade?
Thats why im struggling with city of mirrors. It's the last book of a trilogy and so far 75% of it has been pre apocalypse. Page after page about Harvard life and how a doctor rose through the social ranks, absolutely irrelevent in the bigger picture.I started struggling on the second when it needlessly went back to pre apocalypse. I wanted to know about the characters from The Passage, not spend hours getting to know new ones. I was going to pick it back up in a couple of weeks, not sure i'll bother now.
Getting fed up waiting for the third kingkiller too. Rothfuss isn't a big fat lazy **** like GRR is he?

I think a change of genre might help me. I might re read my Flashman collection, I haven't read any for years.Thats why im struggling with city of mirrors. Rothfuss doesn't even try to appease anyone with progress on the book, just any kind of update on progress would be something.
