The Luminaries
Only just started it. Very wordy and packed full of intricacies, which is great. However, it had better be worth it because you can't beat a good story.
Enjoyed this, a very clever book. Apparently it's even better the second read.

It really pisses me off. I get that they need time to write a good book that lives up to the standards of the previous two, but the total lack of updates and progress is rediculous. People invest a lot of time into these books and money as well, but its like the authors just take that for granted.Probably not, he's on the slow wanker list with JV Jones, George RR Martin and Brandon Sanderson (used to be brilliant but has 2 unfinished series atm with no movement on either).
I really don't get the need for so much content about the doctors history at Harvard. I had to start checking my kindle that it hadn't swapped me onto an alternative book as it just seemed such a random pointless tandem to go off on in the final book.I'm struggling with it too - boring the arse off me if I'm honest. Loved the first two
What type of philosophy?Looking for one that's about Philosophy, anyone to recommend me one?
Good read but he's a seriously arrogant lad. :)
Might look it up, is it closer to SK fantasy or say, Joe Abercrombie?NOS4R2 by Joe Hill. Pretty dark fantasy horror but very good nonetheless, Stephen Kings lad so no surprise really.
