It is a good book. Just amazing how many artists he worked with over the past 2 decades or so.

Loved the picture he painted of early 80s Manchester. Stolen from Ivor, Perry fringes, the underground market on Market street.

Those were the days.

Just finished The Border, the final part in Don Winslow’s brilliant Cartel trilogy. Now reading The Chain by Adrian McKinty, which is also very good.

Thanks for this recommendation, I think I'll give the first one a try if it's available on Kindle.

A mate (United fan) at work gave me Trautmann's Journey, an autobiography. These two will be my holiday reading for the next two weeks, during the inevitable rain in Mull.

Read a good Beatles book last year called “You never give me your money”. It’s all about the break up, the lawyers, the bickering etc. Fascinating how their personalities changed during that period.

Just finished Tim Marshall Prisioners of Geography. Now the remaining Strike novel by JK Rowling that I haven’t yet read. It’s either this or watch league of their own.
