3rd kit

yeh like that maybe change it to white with light blue and purple stripes.

I'd go with that shirt in Maroon with a sky blue n' white stripe, white shorts, Maroon socks with blue n' white trim.

Doesn't work mate, I tried changing the blue to maroon and red stripe to sky leaving the white one alone and it looked awful. What does look good though is one wide diagonal stripe in sky (preferably) or white. At the risk of them looking like jockeys or polo players it can look really smart, but you've got to be careful of political & military connotations with sashes.

The St Marks kit or maroon for me. Got a feeling the home kit will be a bit different next year as Puma are making our kit. ;-)

Maroon

It's been the traditional away kit of MCFC since we first began more or less. I've always thought of City's colours as sky blue, white and maroon.

This can be worked on for the 3rd kit, white shorts, white socks?................... Russia current home, imagine in maroon,
Three broad maroon stripes- the 3 rivers of manchester................................don't think blue & white stripe works.
What about diagonal as in the mcr shield? Would it work?

Hearts home, last season? Right colour to work with. V-neck & pinstripes?

The play off final shirt was disgusting. In fact it's tucked away in the corner of my cupboard it's that bad (no i didnt buy it) The blue with the red and white sash is amazing but doubt it would happen. A nice modern maroon shirt would look good similar in style to the blue one last year.
