What Conspiracy Theories Do You Believe In?

Vaccines aren't 100% risk free, they come with the potential of anything from minor discomfort to anaphylactic shock.

And death.

Yes, and death in approximately <0.0001% in the case of MMR. In infants where the immune system is weakened and that hasn't been detected previously.

Considering that pre-vaccine we used to get up to 400,000+ cases of measles per year in the UK, approximately 100 deaths per year and many more children left suffering long-term mental/physical illness as a result. That's not even including Mumps and Rubella.

Are you suggesting we go back to that?

Having a discussion about 9/11 today. All the blokes in the cabin at work have seen an documentary about how it was an inside job, think it's called loose change. After watching it, they're all convinced it was an inside job. I don't normally read into these conspiracies, they just brainwash you with aload of shite. The only thing what's dodgy about that day is the pentagon crash.
I think the American's paid some braindead nobhead to paint e 11 was an inside job on a new bridge over the M60 just to make Britain look a shithole to anyone who visits.

That's what they say!

There is no moon.
I thought that but I just watched a documentary about TMA-1 (Tycho Monolith Anomaly). This monolith was found buried under the moon's surface.

Magnetic - they didn't know it was a monolith until they had excavated it

This is true. You can die from the MMR vaccination at the rates that SkyBlueFlux pointed out.

Doctors however weighed this one in a billion risk of dying against the dangers of losing herd immunity and thought it was probably a decent tradeoff. Those damned Doctors and their rigorous scientific methodology and years of medical study hey? far better to listen to a Hollywood actress or a totally discredited and disbarred snake oil salesmen. They know "the real truth" unlike those millions of qualified professionals who recommend the MMR.

Vaccines don't cause autism. Though given the intellectual state of the anti-vaccine crowd then I do wonder if they help prevent stupidity.

There are legitimate concerns about some vaccinations in particular HPV.

I'm no expert, obviously, but this is a pretty good take on the "loose change" video.
