The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail by Leigh and Baigent fascinated me and i read loads after. I admit its a long time ago but i nearly did a degree in medieval History instead of Economics on the back of it. If i could afford it i would do that medieval History degree now.
I would study the Merovingians especially Dagobert
