What did Robbie do wrong exactly?

We lost because 1) Tottenham could pass the ball to each other and 2) we couldn't.
I though after the first 15 minutes, our first touch (by everyone) was abysmal.
Passes too long or too short or 3 yards in front of a player or 3 yards behind. We just couldn't get hold of the football. Then instead of playing it on the ground, we kept banging long balls straight to fucking Dawson. Having no noticeable formation, apart from when we lined up at kick off, didn't help either.

I remember Hughes talking about the top 4 - er yesterday. Goodbye Mark ;-)

Hughes is a calculating cnut.

He knew too well the team wasn't set up to exactly see Robinho thrive, with Lennon up against an OAP.

Where has Robbie been for the last three months, oh, that's right, out with a broken ankle.

A convenient scapegoat, again now he is fit.

Be patient Robbie, hopefully you get the chance to work for someone who can harness your talents, instead of feeling inferior to you.

He was shite and has been shite on too many occassions - as was his best mate, Elano, before him. And Elano was shit under Sven. It's obviously a mentality thing with that type of player and has nowt to do with the manager. These type of players are creative types and are not work-horses. It's no point in having a go at Robbie - or Hughes - it's just the way it is.

If you don't want shirkers - don't buy those type of players! They're the final piece in the jigsaw and NOT what we need at the moment. IMHO of course.

If i was subbed off in an important game where everyone was shit, despite being one of the only players who looked like creating something, id be annoyed aswell

it wasnt like he went mental and spat on the fans before wiping his arse on the badge, he high fived the sub, shook the managers hand and walked down the tunnel.

What exactly is the problem with that?

Wasn't he also pissed wet through?

well... um.... hughes has to be really, really confident that he won't get sacked if he is prepared to effectively throw crucial matches.
